Farm Bill Education Program: The
Farm Bill Education Program in-service will take place on June 7
at El Reno. The purpose of the in-service is to provide state and
county staff with an understanding of the new act, to encourage
local and multi-county meetings to improve awareness, and to
encourage field staff to act as presenters at those local
meetings.
Conference Slated: The 34th Annual Beef
Improvement Federation Conference will take place July 10-13 in
Omaha, Nebraska. The theme of the conference is Focus on
Efficiency. For more information contact John Evans, Animal

Join Hands Day: The purpose of JOIN
HANDS DAY is to bring youth and adults together to improve their
own communities. On June 15, all Americans are encouraged to
reach across generations and work with new friends in identifying
and fixing problem conditions right where you live. The
possibilities are limited only by the imagination. New
partnerships can be born and fostered in an effort to bring more
young people into leadership roles in many organizations. More
information is available at http://www.joinhandsday.org
.
A
Note of Thanks: The expression of sympathy you have
shown our family has been wonderful. The cards, letters,
telephone calls, food, contributions, flowers, and visits have
been so very helpful. Your thoughtfulness and kindness during
this difficult time is greatly appreciated and will be
remembered. We ask for your continued thoughts and prayers for
our family as we deal with our tremendous loss. Sincerely, Joyce
Martin and children.
