Winter Canola Conference: The 5th Annual Oklahoma-Kansas Winter Canola Conference is slated July 21 in the Hoover Building at the Grady County Fairgrounds in Enid. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the event is free. Sponsors have provided more than $1,500 worth of door prizes that will be given away. AWARDS 

ACE Awards: The Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources’ SUNUP TV Web site was recently recognized as a silver award winner in the field of Internet technology by the Association for Communications Excellence (ACE) in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Life and Human Sciences.  ACE receives entries from across the U.S. and Canada and awards one gold, silver and bronze prize annually in each category.  The SUNUP site features all video from each week’s show as well as usefull links and additional information about show topics.  You can visit SUNUP at sunup.okstate.edu. Tracy McMurphy, Communications Specialist – Web Content, designed and maintains the site. In addition, Craig Woods, Kevin Gragg, and Kathy Conry were presented with a gold award in the category Informational or Non Credit Educational Video Production for their video “Welcome to Town! Using the PRIDE Program in Your Community.” The annual ACE meeting took place in Des Moines, Iowa.
