CURRENT EVENTS

Extension Supporters Day at the Capitol: I appreciate all that each of you have done and are doing to make contact with legislators and stakeholders to make our event a successful one on April 6.  As of today, we have around 488 stakeholders, 4-H’ers, and Extension staff planning to attend.  You may send adjustments to your number of attendees for the lunch count through Tuesday, March 30 at 5:00 p.m.  I look forward to seeing all of you there!  Again, thanks for all your efforts and your commitment to this event.

NOTE: There will be a separate training session held for the 4-H youth on meeting legislators and how to tell our Extension story that morning by Debbie Sharp and Wes Lee in the ACCO Board Room. Also, there will be a photographer set up in the first floor rotunda during lunch. You need to be certain that you invite your legislators to have a picture made with your county delegation during this time.

The event will feature free food, games, art project and much more and will take place at the Amity Baptist Church, 1201 S.W. 27th Street, El Reno, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information, contact Kay Bokker, Canadian County Healthy Families Program, at 405-262-0155.
