ANNOUNCEMENTS

Extension Fact Sheets Now Online: Extension Fact Sheets are available online, anytime, at http://osuextra.okstate.edu. These publications can be ordered from the Ag Duplicating store using the Print On Demand System (PODS) at http://pods.dasnr.okstate.edu Within the next few weeks these two sites will undergo changes to help improve access to the fact sheet library. OSUExtra will combine with PODS to provide a single source for viewing and ordering publications. The web addresses – http://osuextra.okstate.edu and http://pods.dasnr.okstate.edu - will not change. "Guest" access will allow all web users to view fact sheets and publications; users will be required to login to order documents. Additional information related to this login procedure will be distributed to all County Extension Directors and Unit/Department Heads before the new site goes into production.

Spring Fee Waiver Information: Fee waivers for the 2005 Spring Semester should be submitted no later than December 23, five working days prior to the first day of class on January 10, 2005, to 245 Ag Hall.  The Study and Education Form should accompany the fee waiver and be signed by your County Extension Director, District Extension Director, Department Head, and/or appropriate Unit Administrator and then forwarded to 245 Ag Hall for processing.  Please allow plenty of time to get these forms in by the deadline.  If you miss the deadline, the fee waiver WILL NOT be honored, no exceptions.  No letters of explanation will be accepted.  Both the Fee Waiver and Study and Education Forms are kept in Ag Mailing Services and you can request them by calling 405-744-5823.

Also, as a reminder – Distance Education Courses do have additional fees and in-service training does not require a fee waiver form.  If you have questions, please contact your immediate supervisor as they have updated information regarding the policy on Fee Waiver and Study and Education Request Forms.

If your class is cancelled, you decide to drop your class, or if you change your study and education form, call 405-744-6550 so your records can be updated.  Also, check your Bursar invoice to make sure you received the fee waiver.  You should contact the Fee Adjustment Office at 405-744-6866 if you have questions.
