CURRENT EVENTS

YOU DID IT!: Congratulations on a job well done! As you know, the Cooperative Extension Initiative (Senate Bill 923) passed and we received the $3.3 million for OCES field operations. Also, great job working on the Alternate Retirement Plan for Comprehensive Universities (House bill 2226) as well. These were two very important issues affecting Extension and OSU. Please do make the special effort to thank your legislators and stakeholders who went to bat to get these two items passed. I personally want to thank each of you for your dedication, tireless efforts, and hard work! When we all work together, we can accomplish great things. THANK YOU!

GardenFest at OSU Botanical Garden: Mark your calendar for June 12 and make plans to attend the 3rd Annual Summer GardenFest that will take place at the Oklahoma State University Botanical Garden, 3425 W. Virginia. The event is free and begins at 10 a.m. GardenFest will feature a variety of gardening events and tours. For more information, call 744-5404.
