Still Time to Register for Women in Ag Conference: The Oklahoma statewide Women in Agriculture and Small Business Conference will take place Aug. 8-9 at the Moore Norman Technology Center, 13301 S. Penn Ave., in Oklahoma City. Early registration is due by Aug. 1 and is $50 per person. Registration after Aug. 1 is $60. Registration forms are available online at http://www.okwomeninagandsmallbusiness.com/. AWARDS

 

Dollins Named Volunteer of the Year: Donna Dollins, Graphic Designer, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture, was named the State 4-H Volunteer of the Year at the group’s recent annual meeting. She also was named Northeast District Volunteer of the Year.  She has been a volunteer for nine years with the Perkins 4-H Club. Congratulations!

DASNR Employees Honored: Congratulations to Trisha Gedon, Andrea Graves, Mandy Gross, Gayle Hiner, Erin Johnson, Todd Johnson, Jake Nelson, Renee Nelson, and Craig Woods for being named recipients of the Friends of Oklahoma 4-H Award.  This award is presented to individuals who have provided special support for 4-H. The group was recognized during the Honor Night Banquet that took place during the 92nd State 4-H Roundup.
