Season’s Greetings:  We are coming to the close of another year, Christmas break is just around the corner and the temperatures are beginning to feel a little more like Christmas, but what we really need to make it feel like Christmas is a lot of really wet snow.  That would be a great present for many of our clientele.  I would like to say “thank you” to each of you for your leadership and the work you have accomplished on behalf of Extension this past year.  It is a privilege to be your Associate Director and a heartwarming experience to hear the many compliments made to me about what you have done for the citizens of Oklahoma, be they young citizens or senior citizens, or somewhere in between.  I look forward to 2013 – high on my Christmas wish list for next year is a better budget and rain.  May all of you have a safe and joyous Christmas Season.  May Santa be good to you, because I know you all have been “good” Extension professionals, support staffers, or administrators.  You can cite me as a reference if you like when you make your case with Santa.  J  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
