NOTES FROM THE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

We are winding down another busy year and Christmas break is almost here!  Despite the hard economic conditions and record-breaking temperatures, drought, earthquakes, etc., we can still reflect on this past year with pride and feelings of accomplishments for all Extension has been able to achieve as you continue to provide great programming in all areas for clientele across our state.  I appreciate your dedication and leadership to being the best you can possibly be and say “thank you” to all of you for your contributions toward making it another successful year.  We will kick off the new year in mid-January with the professional staff gathering on campus for our OCES Biennial Conference, January 17-19.  We look forward to having this opportunity to share programs and time to network with our fellow co-workers during this conference.  May all of you have a joyous Christmas Season as you celebrate and enjoy time with family and friends, and best wishes for a wonderful New Year as we look forward to 2012!  And finally, “GO POKES” and get a win in the Fiesta Bowl!

Jim Trapp
