Summer Internship Available: The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service is once again very pleased to offer a summer internship program for students interested in careers in Extension.  If you are currently working with undergraduate or graduate students, or you know students who would benefit from a summer internship, we hope you will share this information.
This program provides opportunities for County Extension Offices to gain the benefits of an extra employee for some of the busiest summer months, while at the same time giving a prospective employee a chance to find out what Extension work is really all about.
This program is designed for college juniors and seniors, or graduate students, to spend 8-10 weeks working in a local Extension Office.  Interns will be paid $10 an hour for 40 hours a week.
Interns may come from any major in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources or the College of Human Sciences.  Interns may also come from other colleges such as Education or Social Sciences, but students with backgrounds relevant to Extension work are preferred.
Intern applications should be sent to Joyce Martin at joyce.martin@okstate.edu and will be due in the Extension Staff & Program Development Office (255 Ag Hall) on or before Dec. 16.

New Address: The Seminole County OSU Extension Office has officially moved to a new location. The new address is 12827 NS 3650, Wewoka, OK  74884. Both the phone and fax numbers remain the same.
