Criswell and Luper Attend Conference: Jim Criswell, Pesticide Coordinator, and Charles Luper, Extension Associate, attended The Pesticide Stewardship Alliance Conference in Albuquerque, N.M., Feb. 23-24. Luper presented a paper on his activities with pesticide disposal and pesticide container collection. More than 350,000 pounds of pesticide have been properly disposed of through this program. In addition, more than 1 million pounds of pesticide containers have been recycled. Criswell attended programming dealing with new regulations on soil fumigants and electronic pesticide labels.

Condolences to: Cecilia Herrmann, Clerical Supervisor, on the death of her mother. Winona L. Hermann passed away March 13. Funeral services took place March 18 at Church of the Firstborn in Chandler. Cards may be sent to Cecilia at 1117 Arrington Pl., Stillwater, OK  74074.

Condolences to: The family of George Seals, retired Extension Agriculture Educator and CED, Washington County. He passed away March 14. Graveside services took place March 18 in Bartlesville. He retired from Washington County in 1984.
